These jewels play on the repulsive / seductive side, and they are both objects of anxiety and fascination. They propose that you metamorphose and reveal your monstrous side; instead of inventing a more beautiful body, more "Instagramable", via surgery or cosmetics, as our consumer society proposes; but here the body is rather freed from its own anatomy, has broken with the dominant norm. Even if we can call these objects simulacra, they are still a break with the idea of good taste and elegance.
