More than 30 international artists and designers, galleries, and institutions take part in SMCK ON REEL in Leipzig and Vilnius.
Reels, the art of the moving image, deploy the artist's narrative and enable the public to indulge in the maker's work. Jewelry not only serves as a starting point for personal stories, but also as a cultural catalyst that can change social values.
SMCK ON REEL is curated by Christoph Ziegler and Loukia Richards. All video works will be shown simultaneously at Grassimesse Leipzig and at the International Biennial for Contemporary Metal Art "Metalofonas" in the Museum of Applied Arts & Design in Vilnius.
