Love stories move and inspire us. One of the roles of applied art is to connect us with our loved ones. Handcrafted or designed objects express our passions, thoughts, lives, and memories. Precious objects can embody emotions, values, memories, or personal milestones. In many cultures, a unique piece of jewelry seals a lovers’ commitment and oath.
SHORT MOVIES ABOUT LOVE invited artists and designers to submit short love stories in which they become the protagonists and play a central role in their own narratives connected to love.
The video stories include ❤ love as passion and disappointment ❤ love destroyed by social conventions ❤ love against all odds ❤ secret or forbidden love affairs ❤ love that ended abruptly ❤ love that started promising and became a nightmare ❤ love that never happened, but remained a phantasy.
