I come from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I assembled this video during the pandemic to show how I work. My process has to do with objects that were not meant to become part of a whole, but were designed to fullfil a specific function; and it would be difficult to find these objects together if a human hand had not intervened.
Through a procedure similar to disembodiment, this material is stripped of its particularities, but not of its history.
Part of my work process to be in contact with nature. I live in a big city surrounded by tropical forest, and this contact is vital for me.
