Beate Leonards is one of the Danner Prize 2023 winners. The prestigious prize is awarded every three years to artists, designers, and crafters living and working in Bavaria / Germany. The nominees' works were presented in a special exhibition from November 2023 to February 2024 at Heiliggeistkirche in Landshut. The event attracted over 15,000 visitors.
The Danner Prize gives crafters and designers the opportunity to stand on equal foot with visual artists who usually attract more publicity than their colleagues of applied art. The award by Danner Foundation is an internationally acclaimed reference for artists, crafters and designers alike.
