SMCK Magazine asks selected jewelry artists/designers highly individualized questions after thorough examination of their career milestones, cultural priorities, goals and dreams.
Our journalistic team drafts and develops a strong artist profile following an intensive online conversation with the artist/designer. Based on individualized questions, a meaningful artist statement is designed together with the artist that serves as a compass and script for the video production.
Artists' Portraits are hosted on SMCK ON REEL website and are professionally promoted through the press, social media and fee free participation in SMCK ON REEL video festival at Munich's Schmuck Jewelry Week 2025 *.

The application is free. Selected artists pay a participation fee of 280,00 euros.
The fee includes professional communication, consulting, customized interview questions, video script, video editing, screening, and promotional services.
SMCK On Reel, the video festival inspired by jewelry and wearable art, is a project by SMCK Magazine. The video festival was founded by Loukia Richards and Christoph Ziegler in 2022 to offer insight into the maker’s narrative, to enable low-budget international networking, and to enrich the viewer’s appreciation of applied art and design.
Videos by more than 150 international jewelry artists, designers, art institutions and collectives were screened in Schmuck Munich (Germany), Vilnius Biennial (Lithuania), Romanian Jewelry Week in Bucharest (Romania) - Timisoara (Romania) - Chisinau (Moldavia), Grassimesse in Leipzig (Germany), Faktor Art Space Hamburg (Germany), Museum of History in Kyiv (Ukraine), Legnica Silver Festival, Berlin Fashion Week between 2022-2024.
